Golden Age Centre was incorporated on March 10th, 1975. Since that time, the Centre has been host to a variety of engaging activities for the 55+ community in Grande Praire.

Join us for a fantastic community event where everyone is invited! Enjoy the fun at our 50’s diner-themed Sock Hop featuring exciting activities like a best costume contest for both kids and adults, a hula hoop challenge, and a delightful cakewalk. Tickets are just $10 for kids under 10 and $20 for adults, which includes a delicious meal of a burger or hotdog, chips, and a drink. Murder Mystery Dinner

Join us for a 1940’s Murder Mystery.

To honour those brave soldiers who fought to bring peace back to the land, Lord Winchester is having a party.  Known for his diverse guests, lavish decor, and free flowing booze, any gathering at his London Manor is always the talk of the town.

As guests are enjoying a cocktail or three, the lights go out and when they turn back on Winchester is dead.

What was the motive? Revenge? Jealousy?

It’s up to you to find out.

For 50 years, the Golden Age Centre has been a hub for active seniors 55+. Situated on the banks of Bear Creek in Grande Prairie, the Golden Age Centre offers various activities to keep our members happy and active, including dancing, karaoke, card games, dinners, bingo, and more. Our facility is also available for rent to host family gatherings, corporate events, and community activities.
